Reading seems to be a dying art while living in the modern era of social media and the state of survival mode. The common phrase is "I'm so busy, I hardly have time for myself" which usually gives the impression that one's life is progressive. When in fact it may not be for reasons such as burnout, acute stress, and anxiety. I'm sure you'd agree that true growth and progress require pouring into your cup well enough to experience authentic life, living and flourishing. Great coaches include reading as imperative for growth and change management in the coach-client relationship. We wish to add the essential element of taking time to read. Why? Reading is much more than gaining useful knowledge and insights for practical application.
